Provincial VET Plans |
|
| |
With the view of
rationalizing TVET provision by provincial
basis, VET plans are developed for
provincial council areas since the year
2008. For the first time in Sri Lanka, a
Provincial VET Plan was developed for Sabaragamuwa Province by the TVEC with
technical and financial assistance of the
ILO, Colombo. Second Provincial VET Plan was
developed for Eastern Province.
The provincial
VET Plan for Southern province was developed
in 2011. The Ruhunu Economic Development
Agency (RUEDA) provided the financial
assistance for this activity. It is expected to develop
for other provinces in future. |
