National Skill Standards
A
skill standard is made up of one or more units, identified by
Industry, which reflect the competencies needed for workplace
performance. Relevant core and generic skills are embedded in
the National skill standards. The skill standards are a basis
for curriculum development, preparation of teaching, learning
and assessment materials, as well as training plans. The skill
standards allow continuous review of NVQ and will together with
the International benchmarking. List National Skills Standards
